In this position you will…
owns the internal AI agents that improve how the organisation works, across the full lifecycle: building new agents and maintaining existing ones in production.
The role turns operational problems and user needs into a prioritised backlog and is the single point of accountability for delivery and ongoing performance. It requires technical depth in agentic systems, enough to shape design, assess quality, and judge failure modes.
You will be responsible for…
- Owning the vision and roadmap for the internal AI agents and the workflows they support
- Turn operational problems, user needs, and efficiency opportunities into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritise one backlog that covers new agent work alongside maintenance, reliability, and performance fixes.
- Facilitate backlog priorities and scope trade-offs based on business value.
- Work with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Delivery to give teams clear requirements before each sprint.
- Drive adoption, including onboarding, training, and change management for the teams that use the agents.
- Set the operational targets that define success: task completion, accuracy, uptime, and time saved.
- Build agents to be reused across teams, functions, and use cases.
- Standardize agent components, tools, APIs, prompts, and configurations to cut per-team customisation.
- Handle model and data drift, degraded performance, and user-reported problems with Engineering.
- Track outcomes such as adoption, automation rate, cycle-time reduction, and hours saved.

You will require the following qualifications and skills
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Busniess Analyst in agile teams.
- Experience delivering AI or data-driven products (e.g. GenAI, automation, predictive analytics).
- Understanding of workflow optimisation, including mapping and redesigning processes around automation.
- Stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Able to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Outcome-driven and delivery-focused.
- Able to turn complex requirements and operational problems into clear stories and acceptance criteria.
- Technical depth in agentic systems: able to shape design, evaluate output, set evaluation criteria, and judge failure modes.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
