Job Title: ETL Tester
Job Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Job Type : Permanent
Job Mode: REMOTE with Once in a week onsite / Once in a month onsite – depending on applicant’s location within Portugal
Skills / Responsibilities / Requirements:
- Experience in ETL / Data Warehouse testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including ETL testing, data validation, and data integration/migration testing.
- Solid knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts (SCD, dimensional modeling, schema design) and experience validating large-scale datasets and complex transformations.
- Advanced SQL expertise across relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Teradata), including complex query development for validation and reconciliation.
- Experience with ETL test automation tools (e.g., FitNesse, Rabit, Informatica DVO) and test management/reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, TestRail).
- Proven experience supporting SIT, UAT, and Production environments, including data validation and issue troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure Repos), including integration of automated testing in deployment processes.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, ownership, and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile and distributed team environments.
