EDB Go-To-Market Enablement & Field Product Marketing team is essential in aligning product expertise with market demands, facilitating the launch of EDB Postgres AI, capturing valuable insights, and ensuring consistent execution across the field.
Your Impact
- Engage directly with key customers to validate use cases, refine messaging, and discover compelling value propositions that drive sales, feeding insights back to enhance EDB Postgres AI’s market position.
- Create actionable playbooks and field resources to translate core PMM messaging into practical tools, including use case narratives, competitive analysis, and customer-centric proof points.
- Identify scalable strategies from successful customer engagements and collaborate with PMM and Enablement to implement these across the sales field.
- Participate in strategic meetings with customers, correlating product features with their business challenges, and bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs.
- Provide a constant flow of market intelligence – including successes, challenges, and customer inquiries – to keep our offerings relevant and competitive.
What You Will Bring
- A minimum of 7 years in product marketing, field marketing, or a related go-to-market position within high-growth tech companies.
- Proven experience working with customers and field sales teams; adept in navigating strategic meetings and articulating the value of complex products.
- Strong understanding of successful sales strategies; knowledgeable about pipeline context, deal dynamics, and essential field requirements for success.
- Experience creating field-facing materials such as playbooks, competitive positioning documents, and customer narratives grounded in practical accomplishments.
- A proactive attitude – eager to explore real challenges, adapt based on feedback, and develop repeatable strategies from exceptional successes.
- Exceptional communication skills: capable of simplifying complex concepts for varied audiences, including technical users and economic buyers.
What Will Give You an Edge
- Familiarity with data, AI, and cloud technologies; experience with Postgres or enterprise database platforms is advantageous.
