Medical Communications Team Lead (Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced Medical Communications Team Lead to lead our global team of scientific communicators and help us continue raising the standard of medical education worldwide.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong scientific background who enjoys combining scientific accuracy with innovation, creativity, and leadership.
What you’ll do
• Lead, mentor and support an international team of medical writers and scientific communicators
• Review and ensure the scientific quality of client deliverables
• Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging educational content
• Collaborate closely with our animation, design and project management teams
• Guide projects from scientific concept through final delivery
• Help develop efficient workflows and quality standards
• Explore how AI and emerging technologies can improve scientific communication and internal processes
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of our medical communications department
We’re looking for someone who has
✔ An MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD or another relevant life sciences degree
✔ At least 5 years of experience in Medical Communications, Medical Writing, Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Medical Education, Medical Information, or a similar role
✔ Previous experience reviewing scientific content for healthcare professionals
✔ Experience leading, coaching or mentoring colleagues (formal or informal leadership)
✔ Excellent English communication skills
✔ A passion for simplifying complex science without compromising scientific accuracy
