Are you a dedicated pharmacy technician ready to make a difference? UPMC West Shore is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician to join our team. This position includes rotating daylight and evening shifts and involves assisting with the preparation and delivery of medications for patients in a fast-paced environment.

Pharmacy Technician: $19.74 – $29.67/hour
Certified Pharmacy Technician: $20.45 – $30.68/hour
Take the next step in your pharmacy career—apply today and become part of our team! Repackage, prepare, and accurately label medications, IV solutions, non-sterile compounds, and automated dispensing cabinets under pharmacist supervision.
Deliver medications to patient care units, manage transfers, and remove expired or recalled medications.
Answer phones, assist customers, and manage pneumatic tube station operations.
Operate pharmacy equipment including computers, fax machines, printers, automated dispensing cabinets, and telephones.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment by restocking, cleaning workstations, and returning medications to stock.
Promote UPMC Pinnacle’s mission, vision, and values while participating in performance improvement initiatives.
may travel to other UPMC Pinnacle facilities as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior pharmacy technician experience
Completion of a formal pharmacy technician certificate course
Completion of one full year of education at a college/university with an accredited school of pharmacy and enrolled in coursework working towards a doctor of pharmacy degree
