As a key member of the sales team, you will help drive growth by owning end-to-end sales execution, building client relationships, and guiding the clients regarding the design and construction process from start to finish. We’re looking for someone passionate about making a tangible impact with a focus on exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to execute end-to-end sales for clients in the design, engineering, and construction space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales as well as the design, engineering, and construction industry, a passion for design and construction, and the ability to consult with clients and provide solutions for their projects as part of the consultative selling process.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Actively network to nurture and develop partnerships in the industry to generate leads for repeat business.

Consultative Selling

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the design, construction, and engineering sectors.
  • Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with internal teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to align sales efforts with project execution.
  • Communicate client requirements to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and provide clients with regular updates.

Contract Negotiation & Proposal Development

  • Prepare bids, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with the estimating and legal teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope to secure favorable agreements for both the company and the client.

Revenue & Account Growth

  • Maintain and grow assigned accounts by identifying opportunities for additional services or project expansions.
  • Develop and implement account management strategies to maximize long-term revenue.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key account updates.
  • Meet KPIs set by the company to track performance and ensure consistent growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction, engineering, or home improvement industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of construction or design and engineering processes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to close leads independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
