As a key member of the sales team, you will help drive growth by owning end-to-end sales execution, building client relationships, and guiding the clients regarding the design and construction process from start to finish. We’re looking for someone passionate about making a tangible impact with a focus on exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to execute end-to-end sales for clients in the design, engineering, and construction space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales as well as the design, engineering, and construction industry, a passion for design and construction, and the ability to consult with clients and provide solutions for their projects as part of the consultative selling process.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and project updates.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Actively network to nurture and develop partnerships in the industry to generate leads for repeat business.
Consultative Selling
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the design, construction, and engineering sectors.
- Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Project Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with internal teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to align sales efforts with project execution.
- Communicate client requirements to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
- Monitor project progress and provide clients with regular updates.
Contract Negotiation & Proposal Development
- Prepare bids, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with the estimating and legal teams.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope to secure favorable agreements for both the company and the client.
Revenue & Account Growth
- Maintain and grow assigned accounts by identifying opportunities for additional services or project expansions.
- Develop and implement account management strategies to maximize long-term revenue.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM software.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key account updates.
- Meet KPIs set by the company to track performance and ensure consistent growth and success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction, engineering, or home improvement industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of construction or design and engineering processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to close leads independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
