Job Opportunity: Sales Manager
Our client is a reputed North American distributor of industrial supplies with an extensive network of 50+ warehouse sites across the United States and Mexico. This company specializes in Aerospace, Electronics, General Manufacturing, Medical, Safety, and Transportation sectors. They are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead their sales team and spearhead their growth, particularly in the Pacific Northwest market. This is a full-time position, offering a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, parental leave, and participation in an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sales representatives, setting objectives, providing coaching, and monitoring performance.
- Drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Develop strategic business plans and implement them to boost revenue growth and profitability.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Recruit and train new team members as needed.
- Manage 5-10 key accounts, dedicating one day per week to these accounts, and spending the rest of the week in the field with sales reps.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a sales professional with the ability to achieve sales targets.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a sales team.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Strong relationship management skills to build and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Experience in recruiting and training sales representatives.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
