Since 1987, Spirit of ’76 has helped retailers and communities celebrate with fireworks. We’re growing—and we’re looking for a Sales Manager who blends coaching instincts with an analyst’s eye. You’ll lead a high-performing team, turn data into action, and scale results across our wholesale, dealer network, and retail channels. Creative thinking is encouraged, and there’s plenty of room to grow.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team—set clear KPIs, run regular 1:1s, team meetings, and pipeline reviews.

  • Build a rigorous reporting rhythm with Finance (weekly/monthly/quarterly) covering performance, forecasts, revenue trends, and margin analysis.

  • Translate company goals into actionable sales strategies; refine sales processes for efficiency and consistency.

  • Recommend and implement KPI-based incentive programs that drive performance.

  • Strengthen relationships with key dealers, distributors, and retail customers; support major negotiations and strategic accounts.

  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns and lead quality

  • Use dashboards and CRM insights to spot gaps/opportunities, improve forecast accuracy, and boost conversion and retention.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience, including 2+ years managing a team.

  • Proven success leading through data-driven performance metrics.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, reporting tools, and MS Office/Google Suite.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills; high integrity and a collaborative, performance-first mindset.

  • Background in wholesale distribution, consumer goods, or retail (strongly preferred).
