🚀 About the role
As a Scientific Communications Specialist, you’ll create high-quality scientific content for a wide variety of digital medical communication projects.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Designers, Animators, and fellow Scientific Communications Specialists to transform clinical research, medical publications, and scientific evidence into engaging educational experiences for healthcare professionals.
This is not traditional scientific writing.
You’ll help create interactive learning experiences, animated scientific stories, digital education, and innovative communication solutions that make complex science easier to understand and more engaging to experience.

What you’ll do
- Develop scientifically accurate and engaging scripts for digital medical education.
- Translate complex clinical research into clear, compelling communication for healthcare professionals.
- Review scientific literature, publications, clinical evidence, and treatment guidelines.
- Collaborate with Designers, Animators, Project Managers, and fellow Scientific Communications Specialists throughout project development.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, consistency, and quality across every deliverable.
- Contribute to storyboards, interactive learning experiences, and scientific narratives.
- Participate in scientific discussions with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients when needed.
- Help improve our scientific communication standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance scientific communication while maintaining the highest scientific standards.

You may currently work in:
- Scientific Communications
- Medical Communications
- Medical Affairs
- Medical Education
- Medical Information
- Medical Writing
- Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
- Clinical Education
- Healthcare Communications
- or a similar scientific communication role.
Required
- MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD, or another relevant Life Sciences degree.
- At least 4 years of experience in Scientific Communications, Medical Communications, Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Medical Information, Medical Writing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific publications, and pharmaceutical communication.
- Excellent scientific writing, editing, and reviewing skills.
- Ability to communicate complex science in a clear, engaging, and accurate way.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Comfortable working in a remote, international environment.
Nice to have
- Experience working with global pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
- Experience supporting Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Commercial, or Clinical teams.
- Experience with digital education, interactive learning, or scientific storytelling.
- Interest in animation, visual communication, or AI-powered content creation.
