Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Job Location: Portugal
Job Type : Permanent
Job Mode: REMOTE with Once in a week onsite / Once in a month onsite – depending on applicant’s location within Portugal
Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a high-performing technical team, focused on building modern, scalable, and cloud-based solutions using microservices architecture.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
- Develop and maintain robust backend applications using C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core
- Design and implement solutions based on microservices architecture
- Apply architectural patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Event-Driven Architecture
- Work with distributed systems and messaging platforms (e.g., Azure Event Hub,Kafka)
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and performance tuning
- Work with NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB)
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing
- Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git for version control
- Support continuous improvement of systems, architecture, and development practices
Requirements
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core
- Proven experience with microservices architecture
- Solid experience with Azure cloud platform
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of unit testing best practices
- Proficiency in Git
